Baraka visits Innocent Smoothies
A wonderful tour of Innocent Smoothies...
A group of Baraka members visited our neighbours, Innocent Smoothies, at their London Headquarters this week.
The Baraka delegation enjoyed a highly educational one-hour tour of Fruit Towers on Ladbroke Grove, which employs 300 workers.
The girls learned about the smoothie making process at the UK’s biggest smoothie company. They asked plenty of questions, about what it is like to work for Innocent and what qualifications are needed to work there.
The children heard about the scientific work done at Innocent, as well as the importance of marketing. They were shown examples of Innocent’s ethical approach and the company’s charitable work in Mali.
Baraka would like to thank our tour guide, Nikoletta, who showed the girls around and was great fun, offering lots of insight in to what it is like to work for a big company like Innocent. We are also grateful to Rrita who organised this visit, as well as another Baraka visit two weeks ago.
